Mahalo!

         We finally did it! Welcome to my married bio! I want to thank all the friends and the family memebers  who gave me such great ideas for our special day and taking busy time to come to celebrate our very special day.... much Mahalo and thank you for looking!                                                                                                                        
        We currently live in the D.C. Metro Area and absolutely love it! I work as a Japanese teacher at U.S. Dept of State, and Andy is recent graduate school grad with MBA and works as a consultant at Booz Allen. 
        We both decided to get married in Hawaii because we LOVE it there and I lived there for two years, Andy for five years! There's no place that makes us more excited than Oahu. It's beautiful, full of action and most of all have delicious food!

去年の7月からずっと計画を立ててきた結婚式。こんなに真剣に何ヶ月もかけて何かに取り組んだのは生まれて初めてでした。だからこそ、少しずつでも式の詳細を記録に残して将来ハワイで結婚されるお花嫁さんに役立てる情報を載せていきたいなと思っています。どうしてハワイで式を挙げたのってよく聞かれます。実は彼の家族はNY、私の家族は日本にすんでいて、それなら真ん中をとって両家にとって便利な距離にあるHawaiiでウェディングならいいかもってことで決定しました。それに、私はハワイに1年ちょっと、アンディーは5年すんでいたので二人の思い出の場所でもあります。

私たちは現在、ワシントンDCに住んでいます。ハワイと違って四季がはっきりしているDCでは、春は桜祭りでにぎあい、冬は大雪が降ったりもします。　私は米国国務省で日本語の教師として働いています。ほとんどの学生がこれから外交官として日本の領事で任務をするわけで、日本語を日常で話すのに差し支えないように文法をしっかり教えて、聞き取り力と会話力を備え付けてあげることを目的に授業をすすめています。
ダーリンはブーズアレンといってマネージメントのコンサルティングの会社でコンサルタントの２年生です。二人の最大の共通点はベトナムのPhoがだーい好きなところでしょうか。ふたりともハワイが大好きで近い将来、ハワイ移住を真剣に考えています。

これからもこんな二人をよろしくお願いいたします。
